Homegrown music festival is typically in early summer, Bayfront Amphitheatre has an event every weekend in the Summer through the early fall. When the temperatures start to drop that's when people usually take in concerts or hockey games at Amsoil, go see a show at the Duluth Playhouse or Zeitgeist, or attend one of the many holiday events with the family.

  • Food and Drink

Most people don't think of Duluth as a food destination. For a Midwest city with a population under 90,000, there is a lot of variety of restaurants and cultural food options. New Scenic Cafe, Lake Avenue, Lyric, and At Sarah's Table offer high end American cuisine; Phoholic, Hanabi, India Palace, and Zen House offer great options for Asian Cuisine; Jamrock is the spot to go for some Jamaican cuisine; Duluth Grill has been on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives multiple times and is very popular midwest cuisine location; Duluth also has a Palestinian Restaurant , Falastin, that has 4.9 stars on Google.

When you are done with dinner and are looking for a spot to have a few drinks, you may struggle deciding on where to go with 10 breweries, 2 cideries, and one award winning distillery (Vikre).

  • Weather

It should be no surprise that Duluth experiences all four seasons. However, did you know that Duluth is considered the principle example of a "climate-proof" city according to multiple researchers and news outlets? There has been a significant influx of people and families migrating to Duluth to escape areas of wildfires, drought, or damaging weather.

Duluth's Summers are legendary with the average high of 78F and an average humidity of 75% July-September. During Autumn the temperatures start to get cozier with average highs around 65F and the Fall colors start to really pop around mid September and last to early October. Which translates to "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing."
